Job Summary

The MDM CoE Java Engineer will be part of SDC application development team for 60 countries across the globe, based out of state of the art IT facility in Chennai. MDM CoE Java Engineer will be responsible for performing the enhancements in the RELTIO implementations across the globe, carrying out assessments/analysis, proposing designs and solutions and successful implementation for various market requirements.  The role involves working along with other centre of excellence members, testing and release engineering teams for successful deployment of the implementations to the production environments. The role would involve all the activities from a development perspective that are related to enhancing the capabilities of RELTIO Implementation at AstraZeneca.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform analysis for proposing solution/technical design for various market requirements
• Implementation of design solutions for enhancement of the capabilities of RELTIO as per various Market needs
• Advanced troubleshooting spanning RELTIO and related integrations
• Co-ordination with Test and Release engineering team for defect management and successful deployment of the enhancements to the production tenants.
• Proactive analysis and interaction on product issues with SaaS providers such as RELTIO, Veeva, and other AZ leveraged platforms downstream of RELTIO.

Essential Skills and experience

• Experience of working in Sales & Marketing Portfolio preferably in Life Sciences Industry.
• Technical hands on experience in:
  • Experience with Java Programming Language and OOPS concepts.
  • Hands on experience on Rest Services and SOAP Services.
  • Experience with Java Spring boot is an added advantage.
  • Amazon Web Services environment experience (S3, LAMBDA, DATAPIPELINE, EMR (Hive, Pig & Hadoop)) – nice to have.
• Good understanding of Data Process Flow Configurations & Designs
• Experience with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, SourceTree
• Experience with Web Services Integration and API’s.
• Experience in working Agile methodology
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Work as a member of a team
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to decipher highly technical data
• Ability to multi-task in an ever-changing work environment
