Associate IS Engineer – Patient Support Programs

What you will do

You will be joining our Global Commercial Operations - Information System team. This young and dynamic team, focusing on the ELMAC Region (including Europe, Latin America, Canada and Africa), is responsible for supporting the business on the Patient Support Program platform. The role of IS Engineer acts as a thought partner and technical leader for the commercial business community (Patient Support/Value and Access). You will be responsible for understanding the business needs, designing a technical solution together with the rest of the DevOps team. Using agile methodology, new functionalities and applications are designed and developed. The IS Engineer will also lead new feature development, overall system improvements, support analysis and validation of the solution as well as support steady-state operations within the application portfolio.

In this role as an IS Engineer, you will be engaged in the standups & regular sprint planning and execution to deliver features, improvement, validation & data integration to benefit our business users. As the IS Engineer focusing on our Patient Support Programs (PSPs), you will support the platform that enables our ability to provide services to patients. With your technical skills, you can create and maintain system interface diagrams, functional designs and technical specifications. What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Preferably we are looking for someone specialized in Salesforce.com, MuleSoft, and/or Marketing Cloud, with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of JavaScript/Visualforce/Apex/LWC, and cloud-based solutions such as the AWS tool stack is a plus. Since you will be working in a diverse and dynamic environment, excellent communication skills (in English) are mandatory.

The IS Engineer professional we seek is a superb communicator with these qualifications:

  • Bachelor level education, Information Systems / Computer Science or related field

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a Developer role in preferably the pharmaceutical industry - Patient Support Programs is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills (English)

  • Experience with at least one of Salesforce.com, MuleSoft, AWS, and/or Marketing Cloud 

  • Proven analytical, data-driven problem-solving skills

  • Proven excellence in interpersonal skills, multitasking, persuasion, negotiation of critical issues, a strong attention to detail, and understanding of business complexity

  • Affinity to work in a DevOps environment and Agile mind set

  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others

  • Ability to meet deadlines and schedules and be accountable

  • Mindset of end to end delivery and ownership

  • Willingness to learn new technologies

Technical knowledge:

  • Platforms (at least one): Salesforce.com, MuleSoft, Marketing Cloud, AWS (or similar cloud-based platforms)

  • Code Development: SQL/Python/JavaScript/Visualforce/Apex/LWC
