RWS is seeking Norwegian Translators
RWS is looking for a Translator to join our Norwegian Language Team for an initial 1 -year-fixed term position. You will be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality and accuracy on time and within budget.
Main Duties:
• Translation from English into Norwegian
• Review work of other in-house and external translators
• Understanding and following our linguistic processes and procedures
• Understanding and following the specific processes of each client
• Producing quality translations within given deadlines
• Managing terminology effectively
• Using translation tools
• Linguistic checking of Desktop Publishing output
• Linguistic testing of software, help and websites
• Proofreading of documents
• Providing full linguistic support for your colleagues
Essential requirements:
- Native-level Norwegian
- Degree in translation or any other relevant combination of training and experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
Desirable requirements:
- Good knowledge of translation software such as Trados Studio
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- 1-2 years translation experience
- Experience with medical translations
