Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Line Manager. You will be responsible for the management and end quality of all projects taken on by members of your DTP team. You will be involved in planning the translation aspects of projects taken on by your team from start to finish, making sure that projects assigned to your team ‘happen’. You will need to keep involvement with all projects taken on by your team at all times, and are responsible for ensuring the correct methodology is used throughout, particularly at the start and if there are any changes to scope. You will work closely with the DTP Department Manager to develop and measure the individual skills of your team members. You will ensure effective productivity & utilisation of your team. You will be responsible for correct resourcing and QA for projects carried out by your team.   
  
Ideally, the candidate will have:
 
·        A minimum of 5-7 years professional experience as a DTP operator.
·        A minimum of 2 years in a management position.
·        Be able to produce work of a high standard on a consistent basis and have good organizational and time management skills.
·        An eye for detail and the ability to work successfully under pressure and to tight deadlines are essential requirements.
·        A good grasp of MS Office and good communication skills (spoken and written) are also mandatory.
·        Should be a strong team player, who will prove flexible and motivated, as well as keen to learn.
·        Working knowledge of InDesign, MS Word etc.
