The Associate Manager, Customer Marketing, Target is responsible for driving the national promotion and shopper promotion strategy at Target and oversee implementation for all Bayer healthcare brands. The incumbent will establish deep expertise at Target (Roundel) that enables development of all key priorities. The Associate Manager, Customer Marketing will also drive all ecommerce initiatives through the management and development of Target.com.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Roundel to deliver profitable and impactful shopper marketing programs that align with brand strategies and sales targets
- Maintain and develop Target.com business that aligns with both brand strategy and sales goals
- Work with Sales Strategy and Customer Business Managers to ensure strategic coordination of all Brand strategies and sales targets as developed with Roundel.
- Develop relationships with all key HQ personnel (Sales Strategy, Brand, Shopper Marketing, Finance, Legal Medical Review) as well as Target associates to deliver agreed to Shopper events.
- Gain alignment on vision, strategy and tactical plan and associated budgets with Brand Managers & Sales Customer Business Managers
- Conduct post program analysis, lessons learned and share with all key stakeholders.
- Establish best practices on analysis, industry standards and trends
- Support innovation and new thinking through research and the Target partnership that delivers alternative and effective solutions to driving conversion
- Evolve Target’s Bayer healthcare marketing strategy to include social media platforms

Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree is required (MBA desirable);
- A minimum of 6 years’ of consumer package goods is required ; Consumer Healthcare experience is preferred
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of brand or customer marketing experience
- Excellent financial management skills to critically assess strategic goals and cost investments versus results; ability to streamline operational processes
- Experience in a basic understanding of brand P&Ls, ROI, and budget management
- Direct selling and Shopper Marketing experience preferred
- Proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend solutions
- Robust analytical capabilities across a variety of data sources and platforms with ability to translate into action-minded recommendations
- Advanced computer literacy skill required, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have a valid driver's license
