Job Description
This position is responsible for strategic development and creative execution of marketing initiatives relating to trade promotions, communication and education for the travel trade in targeted Greater China source markets, in order to create awareness, build allegiance, and drive business results for Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL) travel trade sales channels.

Responsibilities :
  • Initiate, plan and manage on-target trade marketing campaigns to drive incremental sales in assigned target markets in mainland China and Taiwan
  • Ensure successful launch of HKDL products by developing innovative tools to facilitate effective trade education, communication and promotion. These include the production of trade events, point of sales materials, advertising resources and communication tools from concept to implementation by managing and working with various creative and production agencies
  • Manage trade advertising campaign and administer allocated project spend to maximize awareness of HKDL products among the travel trade communities across Greater China regions
  • Ensure marketing messages are synchronized with internal Line of Business (LOBs) and monitor all co-op advertising campaigns to ensure communications are streamlined and aligned
  • Nurture long term relationships with key strategic trade partners, including travel agents, airlines, hotels and other tourism related organizations to foster consistent support to HKDL products via joint promotions or events
  • Collect market intelligence from trade partners and key stakeholders, conduct media evaluations and provide analyses/insights to facilitate development of trade marketing strategy and project assessments

Basic Qualifications :
  • Bachelor degree holder in Arts or Science or related disciplines
  • 6 years or more relevant experience in marketing or advertising, preferably gained from tourism industry
  • High level of interpersonal skills to interact and influence both internal and external partners
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
