Our location in Lake County, IL currently has an opportunity for an Associate Medical Director, Product Lifecycle Support within our Core Diagnostics Division.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Associate Medical Director, Product Lifecycle Support will manage the new assay development per project scope. This position will be responsible for the medical support for new assay development, the IVDR compliance of new assay developments and collaborating with regulatory compliance in supporting assay development in other countries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Associate Medical Director – New Assay development, you will oversee the strategy, implementation, and responsibility for overseeing the direction, planning, execution, of medical opinions including establishment of medical platform document.
Contributes to implementation of review of literature, providing daily medical support per project-wise need and facilitates completion of new assay development toward launching.
Participates in cross functional discussion during product life cycle including design verification and design validation to ensure medical need coverage on new product safety and efficacy.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required
Associates degree required; Medical degree strongly desired.
Position requires minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
Preferred
Clinical background with some knowledge in ordering testing, and how results impact medical decision making.
Knowledge of diagnostics and/or clinical lab experience a plus.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.
Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.
