Key accountabilities

  • Responsible for the execution, administration, and monitoring of financial assistance programs with Patient Support Program providers.

  • Acts as Operations primary point of contact with providers for financial assistance, to address issues, improve processes, and maintain program compliance (patient eligibility & assistance thresholds).

  • Handles program escalations and ensures adherence to all Amgen SOPs. All requests validated, approved and processed for next day delivery

  • Responsible for the execution, administration, and monitoring of no-charge good programs with external providers.

  • Acts as Operations primary point of contact with Patient Support providers for no-charge goods, to address issues, improve processes and maintain program compliance (patient eligibility, dispensing frequency, dosing).

  • Support external vendor setup, invoicing, and payment schedule.

  • Execute reports used for reconciliation purposes. Review for required supporting documentation are in place before submitting invoices to the disbursements team for payment processing

  • Budget reporting on a monthly basis

  • Active coordination and communication with dispensing program pharmacies supporting by these programs.

  • Ensure Technical Reporting and Supporting Documentations between vendor and Amgen

  • Ensure compliance per AMGEN operating procedures

  • Collaborate and integrate cross-functionally, working with other PSP teammates, logistics, medical and customer care

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
     

Preferred qualifications

  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical/medical industry experience or 3 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with SAP and reimbursement

  • Experience with Patient Support Programs

  • Organized, detail oriented with strong service-based mindset

  • Multi-tasking, re-prioritization and proactive problem-solving abilities

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, creative problem-solving and communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel functions including pivot tables, functions, and macros

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to achieve business results in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment
