Eaton’s Electrical Sector, Power Systems division is currently seeking an Associate Product Manager, 3 PH Utility Transformers to join our team. This position is based at our Lincoln Ave facility located in Waukesha, WI and offers a hybrid work schedule (2 days remote / 3 days office) Position Overview: Our Associate Product Manager, 3PH Utility Transformers is responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical initiatives to increase the growth and profitability of the product line for the US Utility and International verticals. These initiatives include driving and optimizing new product innovations, existing product portfolios, product line transitions, and cost savings initiatives through the stage-gate process. This role directly supports business development/Sales, executes VOC research, recommends pricing levels, and interfaces cross-functionally to deliver on our customer service promise. Works closely with 3PH Transformers Engineering team to drive innovation and enhanced customer solutions. The Associate Product Manager will possess a knowledge of the product line’s customers and sales channels, as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of selling power distribution equipment. In this function you will: Work to achieve 3PH Transformers Profit Plan Financials annually. Attain orders, sales, profit margin and vitality sales objectives for new products developed. Identify, gather, quantify and transform VOC (Voice of Customer) inputs into new business opportunities including new product development, existing product optimization, service programs, product rationalization, value engineering, marketing programs and other initiatives to support the overall Product Line Roadmap. Lead the Marketing process for large bid opportunities, coordinating or leading pricing and margin analysis, Legal contract reviews, Level of Authority documentation and reviews, and authoring of bid packages. Consider strategic options based on knowledge of product, market, customer, pricing and competition. Conduct pricing and margin analyses and provide recommendations, balancing business growth and profitability objectives. Execute product launches for 3PH Transformers, working closely with marketing communications, engineering, operations and product line teams. Develop, maintain, and update product documentation and sales tools. Lead product line’s participation in division wide marketing programs Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and warranty to resolve commercial issues, support customer requirements and achieve product line objectives. Collaborate to plan and develop the 3PH Transformers product line strategic plan. Perform competitive analyses and develop competitive product comparisons as needed. Provide regular market update / analysis and market intelligence. Support PLM with forecasting Provide product training / develop training materials for Customers, Sales personnel and channel partners. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. Five (5) years of field sales experience, product line marketing experience, or combination Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA Two (2) years of experience in strategic pricing systems and market segmentation Two (2) years of experience in business development or strategic planning.
