Major Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Dean of School of Nursing and Health Studies, the appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- supporting the Department Head of Physiotherapy in the development and administration of the new Physiotherapy programme;
- undertaking course planning, development, coordination and delivery (including teaching);
- undertaking scholarly activities and research; and
- participating in School/University activities and services.
Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- an earned doctorate in Physiotherapy or a related discipline;
- a valid practicing certificate or qualification to act as a registered Physiotherapist in Hong Kong;
- substantial relevant practical and teaching experience in the profession;
- experience in programme and course administration in the field of Physiotherapy or a related area;
- good record of research and peer-reviewed publications or equivalent for professorial grades;
- involvement in professional and community services & activities; and
- excellent command of English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua).
[Candidates with less experience may be considered forthe post of Assistant Professor. Candidates without a doctorate may be considered for the post of Senior Lecturer.]

Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary, composite cash allowance (if applicable), end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive (if any) will be provided to the right candidate.
