About The Role:

Under the direct supervision of a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Program Manager, the Associate Project Manager is a key member of a project team, working closely with the team leader, Technical Services, linguists, and Quality Assurance. The Associate Project Manager is responsible for successful execution of standard quotes and projects while simultaneously managing the work of one or more client accounts to ensure client satisfaction, establish consistent high-quality on-time deliverables as well as assisting in identifying and growing the account’s potential based on predefined objectives. As assigned by the supervisor, the role will communicate with clients related to day to day items such as clarification of work to be performed, update project status, and provide timelines for delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of customer assets using translation memory tools
  • Compilation of project estimates and schedules
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet industry regulations
  • Conduct technical QA on project deliverables to ensure adherence to guidelines and checklists
  • On-time delivery of high quality projects within budget and to client’s expectations
  • Project planning and implementing best methodology and process
  • Accurate version control and archiving of all project related materials
  • Accurate and timely invoicing
  • Awareness of cost control and profitability
  • Attending conference calls / status update meetings with clients
  • Adherence to ISO and best practice processes, with effective and accurate maintenance of project documentation (project handovers, MDS, status reporting etc.)
  • High levels of client satisfaction
  • Accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks

Requirements:

  • Good written/verbal skills in English for internal and external communication and meeting purpose
  • Experience or interest in exploring tools and systems and solving technical issues
  • Team player, willing to be devoted into the team building
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Proactive approach
  • Analytical and structured problem solving
  • Ability to keep calm in a pressured environment
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to priorities
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks with a high degree of independence and ownership
  • Ambitious, with a desire to learn and progress
