Manages common and/or straightforward projects to efficiently and effectively implement solutions to clients that result in excellent customer satisfaction, retention and revenue growth. Applies a working knowledge of project management principles and customer relationship skills to work independently on common types of projects.

Required skills:
Localization Knowledge:
- Full understanding of translation processes including terminology creation &maintenance, translation memory management and Language Sign-off
- Management of the localization of all documentation files types
- Engineering Management: management of the localization of straight forward engineering file types (XLS, XML, Help, Website)
Cost management:
- Accurate and timely creation of projects quotes, updating and maintaining the project budget and invoicing
Microsoft Office:
- Good working knowledge of Excel
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence – Delivers projects efficiently and effectively to customers leading to high levels of customer satisfaction. Creates and updates project schedules, closely monitors and controls project financials, and communicates effectively with project team and customers. Performs account and program management activities on straightforward accounts/programs (e.g., scoping, service identification, scheduling, additional revenue opportunities.) Accurately completes project estimates and proposals, manages and monitors invoicing, and archives project materials. Ensures the SDL project process is followed. Identifies opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and generating repeat business.
- Delivers Quality, Value and Results – Works with senior team members to determine the most appropriate project methodologies, assess risk, and plan project steps to maximize efficiency and minimize potential issues. Looks for opportunities to proactively improve work processes, methodologies and contribute to function wide initiatives. Works with the customer to understand business needs and clearly communicates essential project components such as: project scope, plan and process steps, responsibilities and expectations. Manages progress ensuring that any issues are addressed and/or escalated in a timely fashion.
- Functional Excellence – Creates process documents that contributes to the knowledge base of the function. Continues to develop greater proficiency in key areas, such as: project management, products/solutions and sales/building customer relationships..
- Relationship Building – Builds credibility with customers and project team members by holding regular project/status meetings, documenting and distributing project statuses and actions, following up on actions and issues. Builds long term relationships with clients by demonstrating customer focus and genuine interest in solving the client’s business problems.
