In this role, you have the opportunity to

Support the Philips Healthcare Monitoring Analytics & Therapeutic Care (MATC) business by serving the healthcare community through effective and efficient management of capital medical equipment installations and IT solution implementations across the healthcare continuum.

As an Associate Project Manager , you will have the opportunity to work, under the direction of the Project Manager/Team Lead, to provide proactive project management assistance and support to the project management team to ensure high quality on-time delivery of projects and programs to customers. You will lead key project deliverables; liaise with project team members and external stakeholders in the development and execution of key deliverables.

This successful candidate will reside in either Maryland (Baltimore), Pennsylvania (Philadelphia), Virginia (Richmond, Norfolk or Virginia Beach) or Washington DC.

You are responsible for (but not limited to)

Tracking

  • Time actuals weekly to ensure accurate billing – burndown chart

  • Submitting Service Requests – entering requests for various needs on the project and tracking status

Maintain/Manage

  • Resource plan – a list of all resources currently on a project with allocations. Tracking open position

  • Ensure resources are allocated correctly to respective projects, resource extensions, project updates/notes

  • Weekly Project Status Report – create in PSA, send a reminder email to the team, communicate with stakeholders weekly status updates

Other

  • Budget forecast – ensure everything is matching up, prep for meeting with the accounting team, accrue necessary amounts, track trends

  • Meeting Prep – collecting information needed prior, room reservations, setting up Skype meeting

  • Update the Issue/Action log – follow up with respective owner with reminder 2 weeks out as well as at due date, enter updates

  • Update Decision and dependencies log – crossreference with Portfolio Program Interdependency log

  • Taking Meeting Minutes and disperse post-meeting

  • Create initial build-out of Project Plans (work breakdown structure)

Create presentations

  • Document Lessons Learned throughout the project

  • Create a weekly project management newsletter

  • Spend time with experienced Project Managers with the goal of progressing into a full PM role

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor Degree required

  • 2+ years related project management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Willingness to travel up to 75% throughout the East zone

  • Must possess excellent organization, customer service, and communication skills

  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail; paired with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, flexing as needed.

  • Proactive; able to prioritize and use own initiative when appropriate

  • Proficient in using Microsoft products, especially presentation tools and Excel is required.

  • Budgeting experience

Your team

In this position, you will report to the Zone Installation Director. As a part of the Installation team, you will have the opportunity to support a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
