Job Description
Eaton’s Arecibo PR is currently seeking for a Customer Service Representative – Supply Chain to join our team. The Associate Representative- Customer Service primary responsibility is to prepare production schedules for each manufacturing department based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS) previously developed by the Master Scheduler (Customer Service Supervisor) in order to ensure customer orders are produced on time to meet customer expectations. Also, should manage and follow up the production schedule attainment as well as customer and manufacturing orders, including order entry, orders promising and order maintenance. Essential Functions: Accepts and processes Vista orders, following established business rules. Follow-up the MPS (Master Production Schedule) Supports internal customers expedites requests with sense of urgency and proper responsiveness. Communicate potential disruptions to production plan. Prepare production schedules for each manufacturing department based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS) previously developed by the Master Scheduler (Customer Service Supervisor) in order to ensure customer orders are produced in time to meet customer expectations. Creates and process Manufacturing Orders according to production plan and ensure proper management, fullfilment and closing of all MO’s is performed. Proactively communicates with customers about orders and shipment status (both via email and VISTA system (AWSD)).Perform frequent and timely interaction with operations to verify orders status to ensure and and adherence to production schedule. Reports sales trends and customer order activity to Plant stakeholders as defined by Supply Chain Manager or Customer Service & Planning Manager. Maintains order detractor reports. Promotes customer satisfaction and achieves cycle time reduction through team-based problem solving. Regularly participates in cross-functional teams to solve recurring customer issues. Fosters an environment which promotes Eaton’s goals and philosophy. Encourages continuous improvement and builds customer relationships. Coordinates and/or participates in all required department, plant and customer meetings. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and followed within each project. Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business administration or related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service, Scheduling, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Coordination area within manufacturing environment. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. POSITION CRITERIA Prioritizes, considers alternatives, and responds quickly and effectively to unexpected and rapidly changing conditions. Establish networking and interact with key persons/groups at all support departments whose assistance, cooperation, and support may be needed. Manage effectively high pressure situation. Schedule orders as per MPS guidance. Ensure orders are acknowledging accordingly; create a check and balance process. Order with no Vista date pass 3 days or order entry must be resolved. New orders must honor if capacity allows the customer required date. Meeting with production to address issues, expedites and request pending Provide a daily work load plan 5 days out (Daily Agendas) Utilize Clean to Build tool and MPS attainment tools. Clear understanding of order status and follow up; account for every order from order entry to shipping. Update Consolidated Plan with comments, issues, status for every order. Update the CS Executive Summary for early morning production meeting (OTP, Overdue and Expedites) PC Proficiency including knowledge of Excel, Mapics and Microsoft Outlook. EHS practices, regulations, and procedures experience. Experience supporting internal/external audits including certification renewal. Proactive attitude towards problem solving and resolving issues that may affect plant/employees health, safety, and operations. Availability to work extended hours when required by management Bilingual – English\Spanish with good oral and written communication skills. We make what matters work.
