Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. IIn this vital role, you will contribute to the group’s mission to gain a deep understanding of cancer immunology and contribute to pipeline projects by identification and validation of novel targets and immunotherapeutic strategies.

The Immuno-Oncology research team is searching for a highly motivated Associated Scientist or Senior Associate Scientist to perform research in immuno-oncology. You will work in a highly-matrixed environment and collaborate with other functional areas including In Vivo Pharmacology, Research Biomarker, and Computational Biology.

  • Make impactful scientific laboratory-based contributions to the research goals and breakthroughs of the Immuno-Oncology group

  • Independently plan and perform laboratory experiments, analyze and interpret data, communicate results in team meetings, and participate in the writing of manuscripts for publication

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of Scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree and 3+ years of scientific experience in an industry setting or recently graduated Ph.D

  • Hands on experience with molecular, cellular, and ex vivo biological techniques and assays

  • Flow cytometry and multi-parametric analysis (5+ colors) experience is desired

  • Research experience with preclinical models of cancer and immuno-oncology. Hands on experience with preclinical model preferred

  • Previous drug discovery experience preferred but not required

  • Computer literacy, especially proficiency with GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, Excel, Powerpoint, and Word

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a flexible team-oriented environment

  • Attention to detail, translating into high quality results

  • The ability to work independently on research goals and to collaborate on day-to-day experiments with others

  • Proactive, enthusiastic, show a desire to learn and be a part of a busy, highly productive team
