What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will contribute to the selection and optimization of next generation biologic therapeutics within our Protein Engineering and Optimization group.

The Associate Scientist will apply molecular biology and protein display techniques to drive the selection of protein therapeutics with improved biophysical properties. This role will interface closely with data scientists for library analysis and designs.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Performing molecular biology techniques to construct protein variant libraries
• Optimizing library screening conditions to identify molecule candidates of interest
• Analyzing data independently and carefully documenting experimental plans and procedures
• Working independently and effectively in teams

Basic qualifications

• Master’s degree OR
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant scientific experience

Preferred qualifications

• Degree(s) in the life sciences
• Expertise in molecular biology (PCR and cloning) and cell culture (bacterial or yeast)
• Experience with yeast or phage display is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
