The iTwin Platform team at Bentley Systems has an exciting new opportunity for talented individuals to join us in developing cutting-edge software for infrastructure digital twins. iTwin Platform is an open, scalable cloud platform that provides APIs and services to help developers create digital twin applications for project teams and owner-operators to create, visualize, and analyze digital twins of infrastructure assets. As a Software Engineer you will help design, develop, test, and document iTwin.js, an open-source TypeScript library for leveraging the power of iTwins to build solutions that advance the world's infrastructure.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software in a fast-paced environment where your contributions are delivered weekly to production cloud, desktop, and mobile environments.
  • Design and implement new features and capabilities based on feedback and active engagement from the developer community.
  • Test all software as developed including unit tests, integration tests, and large-scale performance tests.
  • Build and maintain scalable CI/CD processes using DevOps best practices and modern tools.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to maximize productivity

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and modern web development
  • Experience building and debugging native software for macOS and/or Linux
  • Experience maintaining or contributing to a popular open-source project in any language
  • Experience using public cloud services including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
