About The Role:
Provides services to manage the supply chain in order to optimize resource utilization, quality, and capacity that enable a talent pipeline to meet current and future business needs. Applies a working knowledge of recruitment and resource management methods to work independently on common tasks and projects.
Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
- Analyzes capacity for current and anticipated projects to help determine recruitment needs.
- Coordinates resource allocation for specified campaigns.
- Runs reports/reviews statistics, conducts analysis, and makes recommendations to help drive efficient and cost effective supply chain (e.g., vendor utilization & quality, cost analysis, purchase plans, capacity/utilization).
- Monitors use of Vendor Database and helps to ensures efficient and accurate maintenance of data (e.g., language combinations, subject matter expertise).
Delivers Quality, Value, and Results
- Works independently on well-defined initiatives to build long-term, sustainable talent pipeline for RWS. For example, developing relationships with universities and/or similar institutions, building mutually beneficial relationships with freelancers, promoting the RWS brand via Social Media and other methods.
- Utilizes standard methods to measure quality and effectiveness of RWS supply chain such as: cost/budget monitoring, resource utilization, high quality sourcing/supply, resource integration/on boarding, feedback methods.
Functional Excellence
- Helps to develop and/or suggest improvements in RWS policies, procedures, and tools to effectively manage the supply chain.
- Actively promotes/educates user community (e.g. project teams, language offices) on applicable policies, procedures, and tools.
- Supports the implementation of new practices and helps with change management (e.g., collateral development).
- Helps to drive the effective use of the Vendor Database by developing standard instructional materials and/or providing hands-on instruction/training.
Relationship Building
- Builds credibility with team members and others at RWS by working collaboratively to achieve goals as well as taking ownership and initiative on individual actions.
- Grows external networks and relationships in order to promote the RWS brand and strengthen the supply chain.
At times, a Talent Manager may perform select Talent Finding responsibilities as needed by the business. Below is a list of common Talent Finding responsibilities:
- Sourcing candidates (e.g., contractors/freelancers, new employees)
- Advertising campaigns (e.g., to includes leveraging social media)
- Candidate tracking (e.g., leads, applications, interviews)
- Selection (e.g., reviewing CVs/applications, testing/evaluation)
- Hiring (e.g., offer coordination, rate negotiation, on-boarding, integration into project)
- Promoting RWS brand in market (e.g., events, networking, social media)
- Vendor/freelancer relationship building (e.g., promoting/encouraging freelancers to apply to RWS, developing knowledge of freelancer community, building mutually beneficial relationship with freelancers)
Requirements:
- Typically requires minimum of 1 - 2 years related experience
- Typically requires at least a degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High English communication skills (C1 – Advanced)
- Good knowledge about the localization industry or recruitment of freelancers.
