We are looking for Associate Translators to develop their career in translation and have the opportunity to work in a variety of industry sectors.The chosen applicant will be joining an existing team in-house translators. The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Polish (target language) with an excellent communication/writing skills. The role will be based in Bydgoszcz.
 
Ideally, the candidate will have the following profile:

 

  • Be a Graduate or Post Graduate in Linguistics, Modern Languages or Translation Studies.

  • Fluent command of English and extremely high level of fluency in Polish language.

  • Minimum 1-3 years translation experience.

  • .Excellent computer literacy;

  • Be able to produce work of a high standard on a consistent basis and have good organizational and time management skills.

  • An eye for detail and the ability to work successfully under pressure and to tight deadlines are essential requirements.

  • Should be a strong team player, who will prove flexible and motivated, as well as keen to learn

As an advantage:

  • Working knowledge of Translation Memory tools.

  • Experience in marketing, technical, IT, medical, automotive translations.

  • Experience as a proof-reader.


Associate Translator may also provide linguistic support to a variety of people/departments such as: Project Managers, DTP, Engineering. There is also a possibility to perform a function of lead Language Specialist (planning and managing the work of in-house and freelance translators. quality assurance).
