Job Summary
- Responsible and accountable for the management and delivery of logistics activities in support of OFS Business Groups, for Americas.
- Reports to the Vice President, Global Supply Chain, OFS and he/she is a member of the OFS GSC Management team.
- Will have direct management of the Logistics team in Americas (US, Mexico and LATAM).
- Position is based either in Cedar Creek or Memphis. Need frequent activities with peers for RLC-EMEAI and RLC-Asia.
- Fundamental to this role is the ability to remotely manage and motivate multiple teams of logistics specialists engaged in warehouses and
   logistics centers, and to take active role in the program of OFS Digital Transformation.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct all activities of the Logistics and warehouse function to enable world class activities.
- Implements and administers all systems and processes for maintaining control of inventory and transaction accuracy, storage methods and
   facilities, domestic and international transportation programs, GMP compliance.
- Enforces the implementation of and use of SAP and it's accuracy.  Coach warehouse team on SAP and SAP process improvements.
- Update, maintain, disseminate and control the effective implementation of Agilent logistics and warehousing process across Americas
   warehouses and logistics centers.
- Define and implement strategies for Digital Transformation and continuous improvement and provide technical and administrative
   guidance to logistics managers.
- Deliver technical oversight and capacity building to logistics centers.
- Audit the effective implementation of logistics processes and documentation regularly.
- Provide specific guidance on improved warehouse management techniques, conduct regular documented warehouse inspections and
   improvement action plans.
- Provide senior logistics staff with gap-filling solutions.
- Develop and maintain the Agilent standard tools and procedures; coach, measure deployment results and impact on region logistics
   deliverables.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders
   for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups, including Human Resources, Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehousing, Sales,
   Customer Service and Finance, to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Develops and implements plans for facility modification or expansion, such as equipment purchases or changes in space allocation and
   warehouse design.
 
Compliance
- Demonstrate ongoing commitment to risk reduction, and reporting, ensuring compliance with Agilent policies and procedures.
- Ensure that vendor eligibility screening is carried out per required procedures.
- Work with Finance and Compliance focal points to assess compliance with internal controls and required logistics documentation.
- Ensure that risks associated with logistics are evaluated regularly and plans are developed to mitigate any identified.
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports Agilent Quality policy, Quality System and the
   appropriate regulations for the area.
- Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports Agilent's goals and values.
- Participate in regulatory and internal quality inspections and will be responsible for all issues related to warehouse operations.
 
Supply Chain Management
- Participate in the deployment of the Warehouse Management System across sites in collaboration with the Procurement, Continuous
   Improvement team Logistics Senior Managers.
- Coordinate with the IT department to develop and maintain a global logistics infrastructure.
- Coordinate the compilation and submission of global and regional specific logistics activity reports.
- Liaison with 3PL/external parties for warehouse cost negotiations and management.
 
Management and Leadership
- Regularly attend and actively participate in Global GSC and Logistics meetings and related coordination mechanisms.
- Promote and drive GSC Logistics coordination initiatives among Business Groups counterparts at global and regional levels.
- Coordinate with the Business Groups team and sites management to support the dissemination of logistics and procurement practices
   with benefit to project implementation.
- Make frequent site visits to where supervised staff are working, ensuring that appropriate supervision and support is offered.
- Advocate and plan for professional development of supervised, ensure gender equality development and Agilent HR policy.
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;
   planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks.
