Title: Associate or Sr. Associate, Patient Support Operations

Reports to: Director, Patient Support Programs

Location: Mississauga Head Office

Responsibilities

The Patient Support Operations Associate or Sr. Associate role will be focused on 3 core areas:

  • PSP compliance process management and reporting
  • PSP budget support ; PO creation, invoice intake and reporting
  • SOP adherence & audit coordination


Internal Responsibilities

  • Delegate maintenance and work tasks for PSP Governance processes within Veeva Vault System
  • Delegate responsibility to coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure compliance with Veeva vault processes (med info, safety, etc.)
  • Opening all program POs in collaboration with budget owner and finance partners
  • PSP program invoice intake, reconciliation and reporting to program budget owners
  • Aligning and communicating quarterly budget phasing between budget owners and finance
  • Delegate responsibility, for coordinating and managing PSP audits.  Liaising with audit teams, scheduling and compiling audit report responses if needed required
  • Follow-up on audit CAPA remediations and alignment with internal stakeholders on PSP SOPs obligations
  • PSP Team Meetings - schedule, maintain minutes and deliverables for internal PSP Team

External Responsibilities

  • Liaise with PSP service vendors for required documentation supporting program operating SOPs
  • Liaise with PSP service vendors for required documentation supporting budgets & invoicing
  • Liaise with PSP service vendors to support audit activities, including; meetings, remediation documentation and ensuring corrective actions have been implemented if necessary

Basic Qualifications

  • BSc degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of pharmaceutical/medical industry experience
  • Previous experience demonstrating the ability to multitask and skillfully reprioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated by the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to achieve business results in a heavily matrixed environment
  • High level of integrity and commitment to process accuracy
  • Independent, self-motivator
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), compliance  management systems (Veeva Vault) and payment processing systems 9myBuy and Sap)
  • Ability to identify solutions to operational challenges by working with team members and understanding internal processes
