POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the ASVP – Design, the incumbent is responsible for concept and schematics designs including monitoring consultants, preparing documents, sourcing suppliers and other assigned task.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

• Monitor and supervise consultants developing concept and schematics design, and preparing construction documents, specifications and tender packages.
• Review and comment on contractor submissions, which include shop drawings programs and sample materials.
• Assist in value engineering of consultant’s design and source of alternative suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma of Architecture with minimum 7 years’ experience in multi-use projects. Experience in casinos and hotels would be an advantage.
• Strong background and experience in Architectural Design and Design management. Design experience in Interiors is a plus.
• Familiar with the specification of building materials, installation details and statuary building and fire codes. Experience in Macau is a plus.
• Experience in working as Owner Representative is a major advantage.
• Capable in preparing sketches, perspective and details; able to use AutoCAD. Knowledge in other drawing programs such as PhotoShop would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and strong personality.
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Mandarin, is a plus.
• Responsible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
