• Responsible for procurement and to develop purchasing strategy
• Initiate due diligent check on new suppliers and conducting price benchmarking exercise
• To oversee and ensure the effective implementation of the tender system so that the continuous supply quality goods and services is not compromised
• To ensure good and high quality materials are purchased with the best price /cost
To propose alternative procurement sources as to minimize stock times and inventory levels
Work Experience
• Diploma / Degree in commerce / accounting or related fields
• Minimum 5- 10 years experience in hospitality industry specializing in Purchasing / Procurement
• Confident communication in written and spoken english, culturally adaptable
• Able to work as a business partner in an operations team and contribute to the overall success of the business
• Possess good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
