Job Description

Help build a new, innovative CPU micro-architecture!

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Specify and model novel CPU micro-architectural features
  • Ensure that the hardware implementation matches the model
  • Identify, analyze and resolve subsystem design weaknesses
  • Influence the shaping of future products
  • Define, create, and implement leading-edge micro-architecture features that will impact compute from client to networking to server


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, and/or Computer Science with 3+ years of experience in Modern CPU Design, Validation, or Architecture team OR a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science with thesis and/or coursework in Advanced CPU Architecture and Microarchitecture

Preferred Qualifications


3+ years of experience with:

  • Modern scripting languages - PERL, Python
  • Software & C/C++
