Job Description
The Cage Attendant is responsible in transferring Premium Cash chips for a guest at a gaming table to the Cage to exchange for Premium Non-Negotiable chips and return to the guest.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect Premium Cash chips from gaming table when requested, confirming the value.
- Transfer the Premium Cash chips to the Cage for exchange using the GEMS patron management system to Premium Non-Negotiable chips.
- Transfer the Premium Non-Negotiable chips back to the guest as quickly as possible, as well as the system generated exchange slip for guest signature.
- Return the signed exchange slip to the Cage.
- Ensure all duties are performed in strict compliance with relevant policies and procedures i.e.
Macau Government (DICJ) regulations, Internal Control statement (ICS) Policies and Procedures.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Handle all requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Absolute discretion of all guests gaming activities required.
- Adherence of all relevant policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
- Previous customer service and chip handling experience within the Gaming industry.
- High school graduate
Skills / Competencies
- Be able to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage but not essential
- Ability to communicate in English would also be an advantage.
- Strong focus and attention to details
- Experience liaising with executive and senior management
- Adheres to, and supports the Company’s Vision & Values
