REQ1649 Attendant, Valet & Laundry (Open)

Position Summary

Our Valet & Laundry Attendants are the key to customer comfort providing clean, freshly scented linens for guests to sink into and have a replenishing night’s rest for a refreshing next day.

No prior experience necessary. We offer training to individuals who demonstrate good attitudes and physical mobility to move and lift linens and uniforms.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate processing and sorting equipment to launder linen by loading and unloading washing machines and dryers and packing daily linen trolleys. Ensure this is completed in accordance with established practices ensuring full compliance with machine operating procedures.
• Maintain production records, monitor quality control and report maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure all equipment and surrounding areas are kept clean at all times and that the final clean up is conducted in accordance with daily and weekly cleaning procedures.
• Transport clean and soiled linen from Laundry to Hotel and other outlets as required
• Communicate with and assist fellow team members and departments to pro-actively service guests and complete tasks as and when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hotel/commercial laundry or similar experience beneficial
• Good health, physically fit
• Willing to perform shift duties
• Positive attitude towards to work
