Due to the nature of the business, A/V Field Service Technicians (CSR) need to be flexible with regards to hours, as our projects range across the day, dependent on client requirements. This is not a permanent role, but will instead be treated on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:In this technically savvy role you will perform the following duties: Duties include Videoconference and/or Video streaming set-up and operation and preventative maintenance on our equipment at focus facilities. The A/V Field Service Technician (CSR) will have some client interaction and will operate a control panel for live-two camera shoot. Jobs are only on weekdays and can range from a time frame of 5am-11pm, or anything in between. We schedule jobs from the same day, out to two weeks in advance. The average booking is about 1 week prior to 8 hours in length. As an A/V Field Service Technician (CSR) you play a key front line role in establishing and maintaining Focus Vision’s reputation for outstanding client service. On the day of the project you represent FocusVision to the client and their satisfaction depends on your attitude, actions, and your willingness to assist.

Qualifications: FocusVision Worldwide is strongly focused on customer service and the customer experience. As the ideal candidate, you not only need to have a technical background in Audio /Visual and Video Conferencing but also a strong focus on customer service and the ability to go above and beyond. We will also rely on you to possess the following:

Strong and proven background providing excellent customer service.
Good interpersonal skills as communication will be required.
Audio Video Wiring /cabling experience
Cable Termination
Troubleshooting programming and installing routers/switches
Experience with low voltage wiring
Networking Skills. Certification in Networking is a plus
Experience with Video Conferencing equipment is a plus(Trouble shooting, programming and installing) Polycom, Tandberg, HD VS Systems Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule are also needed
