The intern will be working with our team on a project to employ Data Analytics methods for the auditing of BMW Manufacturing business functions. Major focus of the work will be to support the audit team in identifying risks in business operations that can be evaluated with data analysis methods.

The qualified intern should expect to contribute and improve in the following functions:

• Data analytics.
• Business process analysis.
• Problem-solving.
• Performing audit interviews.
• Working in an intercultural environment.
• Configuring and executing evaluation algorithms in the internal audit data analysis platform AuditLab.
• Assessing the accuracy and completeness of data analytics results by manual validation, jointly with the internal audit department and the responsible business units.
• Documenting the result and shortcomings of data analysis that were performed in AuditLab in order to drive further improvements of analysis algorithms and to establish a data analytics user manual to foster the swift onboarding and training of new internal audit associates and interns.

• Pursuing a STEM degree (preferably with Business minor) or Business degree (with technical focus or minor).
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Microsoft office skills, especially Excel.
• Basic/Intermediate programming skills, ideally with data analytics focus.
• Effective communication skills.
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT. 
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term. 
• THE WORK TERM DATES ARE (01/03/2022-05/06/2022).
