REQ1743 Auditor, Non-Gaming Audit (Open)

Position Summary

Auditor, Non-gaming Audit is responsible for ensuring that revenue and expense from hotel, theatre, retail and F&B outlets are verified for completeness and accuracy, correctly recorded, processed and reported on a timely basis.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure proper daily audit of hotel, F&B and other revenue
• Ensure computer system accuracy of booking of revenue and expenses on an ongoing basis
• Completion of month end duties (journals and general ledger a/c reconciliations)
• Assist Senior Auditors and Supervisor to ensure compliance by other departments with internal control policies and procedures and if not, reasons are found and fixed
• Assist in preparation of any ad hoc reports and information upon request by departments

Key Performance Indicators:

• Achieve established reporting time lines
• Internal control systems are functioning
• Revenue and expense properly recognized on a timely basis
  

Qualifications

Experience

• Audit experience in hotels is an advantage but not necessary
• Experience with a computerized system
• Ability to communicate to all levels of management

Education

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications, majoring in Finance / Accounting
