UBS Financial Services Inc. seeks Authorized Officers, Financial Analyst/Fund Accountants in New York, NY to complete daily, monthly and quarterly review and compilation work for various proprietary Private Equity & Real Estate (PE/RE) funds, and year-end financial statements. Liaise with management team to enhance key processes and to develop and enhance product, management, and other reporting.Oversee and manage fund accounting for PE/RE fund-of-funds including reviews of cash reconciliations and cash analyses to support calls and/or distributions, expense monitoring, general fund performance monitoring and communication with Financial Advisors. Assemble ad hoc reports for upper management.Review and validate quarterly books "Net Asset Value (NAV) closing packages" including reviewing cash reconciliations, expense accruals, portfolio pricing, administrative fees, incentive allocations, trail commissions, partner's capital allocations, and returns for the funds and investors. Review and approve quarterly financial statements and annual audited financial statements. Review tax reporting including 12-month Tax Estimates, Forms 1099s, Composite Election Forms, Forms 1065 and Schedule K-ls.Prepare cash analyses for assigned funds related to calls or distributions. Prepare or review allocations and merged client notices and process wires and checks as needed. Provide support for annual audited financial statements. Perform accounting research, as needed. Liaise with management reporting team with respect to accounting and tax reporting matters.Liaise with various teams to obtain information for annual tax reporting calendar. Field questions from Financial Advisors regarding client questions.Administer payment of vendor invoices such as audit, tax and custody.
