Overview / Mission of function Drawing-up of documents in accordance with the specifications for the signaling and safety system in question and the requirements of the customer, considering the defined processes and guidelines and using the defined tools HW engineering of interlockings with special and general engineering tools (AutoCAD) Ensure processes to be strictly followed and documentation generated (e.g., specifications in requirement management tool, descriptions of the interfaces) Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented! Generation of project specific design documentation and HW design of Interlocking subsystem, including power supply and communication. Generating Solid and Surface CAD models using AutoCAD software. Archiving of the drawn-up documents by using the defined tools Support in rectification as well as incorporation of feedback from Installation Presenting various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations. Presenting rough design drafts for client approval. Drawing-up of material lists for ordering the hardware required for system creation Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid! Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or architectural studies. Previous work experience as an AutoCAD drafter. Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software. Technical knowledge on main subsystems of a railway project, especially hardware subsystem. Experience in reading and understanding technical requirements Proficient English language required.
