We are at a critical time in the growth of the Intel Automation Center (IAC) where we are building out a new team in Malaysia. The IAC brought the UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform to Intel and has spent the last two years expanding the infrastructure, growing the bot development capacity and delivering increasing value to the company. As a software development engineer (SDE) in the IAC you will become a master of UiPath technology. In this hybrid role you will split time between the platform and the bot delivery. On the platform side, your focus will be on enabling new features in UiPath while enhancing the infrastructure automation in Azure and Powershell. On the delivery side you will partner closely with third party developers to ensure that their work meets the standards of the IAC. You will also develop some components of the bot projects, with emphasis on creating re-usable assets and new patterns.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with external partner developers and provide solution / architecture guidance and governance on bot development cases.
Work with various business units to explore art of the possible / proof of concept for UiPath bot development.
Facilitate the mitigation of risks and issues throughout the RPA deployment phase.
Serve as the front line issue response for developers and the business.
Maintain several bots on daily basis and ensure quality and high performance.
Assist the team in deployment, support, evaluation of potential RPA processes, support change management within UiPath.
Assist with code reviews and testing plans for optimal performance and deployment.
Monitor and forecast robot processing, server, and network capacity.
Participate in capability engineering on the UiPath platform, including VM automation in Azure and CI/CD automation in Github.
Support (L3) incident tickets and service requests related to the UiPath platform, including provisioning access, deploying new VMs and making Orchestrator configuration updates.
Help author guidance and best practices for the UiPath development community.
Develop and document re-usable assets to empower the Team and the federated bot developers in the business.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or 5-7 years of equivalent experience).
UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
2-3 years development experience with UiPath including REF, Orchestrator Queues, Triggers, OCR and familiarity with 20.x features.
1-3 Years hands on web development with HTML, Javascript, CSS and other web technologies.
1-3 Years hands on experience in .NET, SQL, REST/JSON and XML.
Experience working on a SCRUM software delivery team.
Experience working with Git, including pulling, pushing and merging code.
Comfort with MS Excel and MS Visio.
Preferred Qualifications:
AI/ML modeling with Python.
Azure functions, VM management and Powershell.
Creating custom UiPath activities in C#.
UiPath Apps, Action Center and AI Center experience.
UiPath Process Discovery and Document Understanding experience.
Process Modeling and Redesign experience including diagraming in Visio and LSS techniques.
Fluency in English and Mandarin.

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
