Integrates, tests, installs, configures, and/or supports Factory automation software systems. Coordinates factory requirements, maps them to automation systems capabilities, and recommends technical solutions. Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems. Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs.
Serves as expert for a designated set of automation systems, including representing integrated needs in cross functional and cross site teams. Perform core technical role within the organization which is leveraged to drive Reliability, Availability, Performance (RAP), Software qualities and Change/Deployment execution through the application of system integration expertise.
Top problem solvers across a broad range of systems within their Service along with dependent / adjacent systems in external services.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other relevant Engineering degree with at least 7 years relevant work experience and possess leadership skills will be added advantage. Able to perform programming or scripting works.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of manufacturing applications or automation capabilities used to run Assembly Test/FABSORT Manufacturing business as well as ITIL/Agile processes.
Possess skills in PowerShell, Python or other programming languages.
Ability to apply methods and tools for data extraction and analysis, and data visualization.
Experts in Problem Solving methodologies (particularly Model Based Problem Solving), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and IT Operations Management best practices.
Influencing skill across services and organizational barriers to achieve results.
Strong communications and stakeholder management skills given their role in explaining and clarifying issues with the stakeholders and in translating business requirements.
Strong sense of teamwork, customer orientation, quality and discipline.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced global manufacturing support environment with a high sense of urgency.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
