Integrates, tests, installs, configures, and/or supports Factory automation software systems. Coordinates factory requirements, maps them to automation systems capabilities, and recommends technical solutions. Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems. Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs. Serves as site expert for a designated set of automation systems, including representing integrated needs in crossfunctional and crosssite teams. Position may include some software development of related enhancements, supplemental systems, and/or support and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other relevant Engineering degree with at least 8 years work experience and possess leadership skills will be added advantage.

• Able to perform programming or scripting works.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of manufacturing applications or automation capabilities used to run Fab Sort/Assembly Test Manufacturing business as well as ITIL/Agile/SCRUM processes.

• Possess skills in PowerShell, Python or other programming languages.

• Ability to apply methods and tools for data extraction and analysis, and data visualization.

• Strong communications and stakeholder management skills given their role in explaining and clarifying issues with the stakeholders and in translating business requirements.

• Strong sense of team work, customer orientation, quality and discipline.

• Comfortable working in a fast paced global manufacturing support environment with a high sense of urgency.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
