Intel's Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) is hiring an Automation Integration Software Engineering Contract Employee. Duration is minimum of 1 year and maximum of 3 years.

As part of our team, you will support innovative solutions specially crafted for the ever-changing needs of our highly automated factories locally and across the globe. To integrate these solutions, you will work closely with our team to design and further develop systems, internal utilities, and applications while updating or creating supporting documentation.

Your day may include scripting new tasks for automated checklists that setup, convert, or decommission factory equipment, enhancing error messages, enabling streamlined or bulk configuration updates, and creating reports or dashboards for additional data analysis.

In this role you will have the opportunity to exercise your skills:

• Writing and testing scripts in a simulated environment.
• Utilizing communication skills to increase collaboration, create consensus and understand technical challenges during requirements gathering
• Analyzing existing data and surrounding processes and procedures to determine more efficient solutions.
• Use technical documentation skills to document requirements, processes, procedures, and training.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Control, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ months of Scripting experience (PowerShell, VBScript, or C#)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 years of software development
• ​Previous experience dealing with customers at any level.
• SQL
• Data Visualization
• Project Management
• Regular Expression (RegEx)
• LEAN and Agile methodologies

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
