The Automation and Digitalization Consultant will be responsible in innovating systems, processes and other tools that will facilitate the delivery of the desired customer experience to customers and partners through effective solutions generation. He/she shall ensure that delivery standards are met according to agreed timelines for any system enhancements and tools development requirements. He/she shall also be responsible for coordinating, collaborating and directing within the project management setting with other teams within the Philam Group, where required ie. Marketing, Operations, Local IT and Group IT departments to ensure that committed benefits are realized as a result of any automation and digital initiative undertaken.

• Create and implement strategies to increase registration and utilization of the digital channels, including identifying new channels and servicing opportunities.

• Conducts annual, monthly, weekly and daily review of feedback on digital capabilities and satisfaction.   Validate and prioritize action plans, projects, and enhancements for implementation.

• Recommends and leads administrative, operational, and system changes to further improve processing and customer engagement thru the use of technological developments (artificial/augmented intelligence, robotics, wearables, IOT) and servicing to maximise digital utilization.

• Manages automation and digital project delivery from planning , initiation, execution, implementation and post production within the project management cycle and framework

• Reviews, edits, approves and/or signs letters , memos, and documents and other correspondence to the distribution channels, customers, internal stakeholders and concerned parties pertaining to digital administration of policies.

• Resolve customer complaints, offer viable courses or action and/or recommend handling of exceptional cases for management approval.

• Provides automation and digital expertise to various initiatives of the Company through attendance to requested meetings, email and phone consultations and the like.

• Acts as Company representative to meetings and conferences and industry associations.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education : Degree in: Information Technology, Business Management, Engineering, Accountancy, Math ,Master’s Degree is of great advantage

• Experience:   Must have been a supervisor or manager for at least 3 years in the insurance or financial services industry. Must show that he/she was able to deliver positive results in said position. Knowledge on web design, digital servicing and innovation, robotics, automation and process improvement highly recommended. 

• Certifications/licenses – none required except that he must be certified by his previous employer as not having been involved in any illegal activity or any violation involving his integrity. Any PRC license will be an advantage (e.g. CPA, RN, Engr., LET, etc.). Also, special trainings are a plus (e.g. 6-sigma, Customer Service, MDP, ISO, etc.)
