The Digital Industries Factory Automation Solutions team of Siemens Ltd. implements complete automation projects in the field of automotive and industrial logistics. We are looking for a new automation enginner for the following robot programming tasks. Your new role - challenging and future oriented: Creating and modifying offline and online Robot-programs Commissioning of robots including fieldbus systems (PROFINET) Optimization / teaching of robot paths Logic programming (interface to PLC, interlocks, safety functions) Commissioning / optimization of robot applications (welding, clueing, screwing, laser welding) Cycle time optimization Technical clarification with customer(s) Digital factory and digital engineering (virtual commissioning) Your qualifications – solid and appropriate: · Completed technical education (university, technical college or equivalent professional experience) Experience in the field of robot programming (ABB, KUKA, FANUC) preferred Spatial, dynamic visualization ability Ability to think analytically (cross-functional) English spoken and written as well as a second foreign language (preferably German) Professional and project experience (approx. 1 - 5 years) Initiative, learning ability, result-oriented and quality-driven Communication skills and ability to work in a team Standards and technical regulations (in particular safety technology) What can Siemens offer to you?
