What you will do?
In this exciting role you will be responsible for ramping up our growing business in China, by researching and building a winning strategy then successfully taking HERE Automotive products to market. This includes identifying regional product requirements and product strategy, building regional partnerships, and supporting all pre-sales activity within the Automotive market segment in China.

Your responsibilities:
Ramp up our growing China business by bringing our Automotive products to market in the China market. In close cooperation with Product teams, also support the Automotive product quality, testing and operations within the region. If successful, the role will expand to take on other markets.
Support pre-sales activity for HERE Automotive in China and the broader region. In particular focus on winning RFP/RFQ responses towards Car Manufacturers, with or without other Automotive supplier partners. Collaborate with other regional and functional teams to support global customers based out of APAC region.
Develop local China marketing strategy, leveraging global Automotive stories, positioning HERE as a leading provider in the APAC region.
Represent HERE Automotive at industry events and consortiums, and build regional partnerships. Communicate key product messages to customers, prospects and internal teams.

Proven Automotive OEM industry experience in the Asia-Pacific region, and especially with the broader OEM and IT Industry in China.
Deep China industry relationships, engagement not only with industry but also influencing regulators, public agencies, and industry associations. Understanding of local business practices.
Fluent Chinese and business English, working knowledge of other languages (Japanese, German etc) useful.
Track record of functioning in geographically distributed teams, working with different cultures.
Experience in bringing new products to market.
Willingness to travel up to 50%. This includes regular travel to regional HQ in Japan, global headquarters in Berlin and Chicago, and other sites as required.
Passion to utilize new technology creatively to identify and execute new opportunities and/or improve operational performance. Proven record of driving revenue growth and market adoption.
Excellent external communication, negotiation skills and business acumen are essential.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Computer Science/Engineering. MBA or other related Master degrees preferred.
