Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) has established a new international development area to bring autonomous technologies into truck series production. The ultimate goal is to develop a safe, reliable and efficient autonomous truck with the aspiration to reduce traffic incidents and improve sustainability. You will have the opportunity to work on forward thinking topics that may directly influence how we bring autonomous vehicles and their ecosystem to reality.
As Autonomous Truck Mission Control, we believe that for the foreseeable future, we, humans, will supervise and direct the autonomous truck in motion and therefore want to build a Trusted Connection between Human and Automation.
Your job will be to support us in defining and designing the solution that caters to this. Refining its features and functionalities End to End, from a user and customer perspective.
This means that you will become an expert in understanding today’s logistics ecosystem.
You will understand the transportation process today and evaluate and define the needs and requirements that arise through automation.
