About us:

The college offers three undergraduate programmes in Data Science, Sports Studies and Digital Media. The portfolio of courses is tailored to meet China’s and international market needs, and appeal to bright, ambitious individuals who want exposure to the international education, latest teaching-methods and research in sports, data science and digital media.

• Award Leader / Level Head for Digital Media and Data Science Programme
• Senior Lecturers in Data Science, Digital Media, and Sports Studies
• Lecturers in Digital Media and Sports Studies
• Senior Tutors & Tutors for Foundation Skills Progaramme

Requirements:

For Award Leader/Level Head Positions:
• Must have a PhD in a relevant subject area
• At least 5 years of Higher Education teaching experience
• At least 2 years of programme leadership experience in a Higher Education context

For Senior Lecturer Positions:
o Must have a PhD in a relevant subject area
o At least 2 years of Higher Education teaching experience

For Lecturer Positions:
o At least a Masters degree in a relevant subject area.
o Desired: Prefer fresh PhDs, those who are in last year of their PhDs or desire to enroll in a PhD.
o At least 2 years of Higher Education teaching experience

For Foundation Skills Senior Tutors and Tutor:
o A Bachelor’s degree and two years’ teaching work experience are required for English native speaker. Candidates that are non-native English speakers are usually required to have an IELTS 7.5 or equivalent.
o Desired: Master’s degree, a CELTA or similar qualification is desired.

Other Requirements:
• Must have Excellent English skills and be able to teach in English
• Provide evidence of high-quality teaching ability
• Being innovative and able to lead modules independently
• Prefer someone with relevant industry experience
• Demonstrate a good track record in research
• Be able to supervise undergraduate students for final year research projects
• Team player – be able to work with teachers from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent IT skills and comfortable in using latest classroom technologies
• Good understanding of teaching in British/International and Chinese context (desired)
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Prefer female candidates for Data Science and Sports Studies major
