Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, while working with diverse audiences including highly technical IT professionals, developers, architects, and executive management.
• Solving complex technical issues while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with members of a diverse team to promote knowledge sharing while providing time efficient delivery of customer solutions.
• Act as a technical focal point in cooperative relationships with other companies
• Maintain strong working knowledge of released products, take ownership for product improvement, and participate in pre-release activities and BETA programs.
• Take an active role in challenging and suggesting enhancements on existing processes and workflows.
• Assist in representing Microsoft in any forum (i.e. hackathons, conferences, events).
• As Azure Network Engineer you will be a part of an engineering team supporting international Customers.

Essential Experience and Knowledge
• Strong knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP protocols
• Experience and/or understanding of Infrastructure / Network Administration
• Troubleshooting at the expert level within large Network Environments
• Knowledge and understanding of VPN, IPsec, DHCP, DNS, HTTP/s
• Familiar with packet sniffers: Wireshark or Network Monitor/Message Analyzer
• Notions of Private, Hybrid and Public Cloud
• Notions of Windows and/or Linux OS
• Notions of Virtualization of SDN technologies
Personal Attributes
• Customer focused
• Real team player
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
• Able to work well under pressure and meet commitments
• Ability to communicate with international customers (having cultural awareness is a real plus)
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus
Additionally, we value candidates with these ‘nice to have’ skills
• Automation / Scripting skills using Power Shell or Azure CLI etc.
• Programming skills is C, C++, C#, etc.
• Understanding of IaaS cloud services
Virtual Switching, Virtual Networks, Load Balancing
• Notions on the following Azure products: Virtual Network, Virtual Network Gateway, Traffic Manager, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, Application Gateway.
Education
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or other relevant technical degree preferred.
• Desirable MCSD, MCSE, MCSA or other Microsoft certification(s) in some of the technologies mentioned above.
