B2 or B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers (Hong Kong Based)

TAG Aviation Asia is looking for B2 or B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers with type ratings on Global Express (BD-700) series and either Gulfstream 450 / Challenger 650/604/605/850 to work on permanent position based in Hong Kong. The engineer shall hold an FAA A&P and ideally also hold Hong Kong CAD B2 or EASA part 66 B1/B2 licenses.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Carry out scheduled and Line maintenance activities at the Hong Kong Base and provide certification of own work alongside supervision and certification of unlicensed engineers work.
• Carry out aircraft maintenance as an unlicensed engineer when required for aircraft types not held on approval.
• Support AOG activities at and away from the Hong Kong Base.
• Must be able to work in a team with a customer-focused approach and willing to work in a multi-cultural team, within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Should ensure that their day to day housekeeping is kept to a high standard.
• Must be an effective team player, capable of working as part of a small dedicated team of engineers and have the ability to interact well with colleagues and the wider business.
• Good English communication skills in writing and verbally
• Must be open to work on a 4 days a week (includes weekend days) schedule.
• Travel across Asia Pacific region to support AOG's on a short notice.
• Assist co-workers on different duties as instructed by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Technical degree (BTS/Associate Degree/ 1-2 years study in a professional/technical area 
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
• FAA A&P & ideally hold HKCAD B2 or EASA B1/B2
• Type Rated on Bombardier BD700 & ideally GLEX 7500 and /or Gulfstream G450 and/or Challenger 604/605/650/850.
• Good English communication skills in writing and verbally
• Must be open to work on a 4 days a week (includes weekend days) schedule.
