This people management position leads a talented team of data and analytics professionals tasked with exploring and unlocking insights and opportunities and partnering with our sales teams to influence key business decisions which ultimately grow our segment and advertising business. The Global Strategic Analytics Team brings together expertise in data analytics & business intelligence and program management to identify business opportunities and solutions and align this with a core focus on operational excellence to help deliver business results.
This is a key role that provides thought leadership on actionable insights for our sales teams. The successful person is a proven people leader, an enabler and influencer who establishes strong relationships across the business and builds highly cohesive and high performing teams. You will partner with leaders across MSA, serving as an ambassador for our strategy and culture while playing a key role in the next phase of the growth of our business.

- Coach the team to perform detailed and insightful analyses of revenue and operational data. Deliver crisp and meaningful analyses of partner performance and sales execution effectiveness.
- Enable the team to understand and drive exceptional business performance by performing detailed and insightful analyses of revenue and operational data. Deliver crisp and meaningful analyses of partner performance and sales execution effectiveness.
- Lead initiatives in Global Strategic Sales to measure and optimize business models, key metrics and overall strategies for acquisition, management and retention of strategic advertisers.
- Lead initiatives in Global Strategic Sales to operationalize our sales planning cycle, inclusive of segmentation, quota-setting, finance reviews
- Leverage the strategic analysis, Business Intelligence (BI) and other data resources to translate data into sales enablement.
- Influence and partner with the Global Operations team to ensure we’re building the enablement tools for both our field and our analysts teams to work as effectively and efficiently as possible against commitments and priorities
- Provide actionable intelligence and analytics that will optimize our sales strategy, make our products and services better and grow our business.
Operational Excellence
- Enable the team to effectively meet customer & partner needs, support revenue growth while maximizing for cost efficiency, partnering closely with key stakeholders including Global Sales Excellence, Business Operations, Finance, MOI and Marketing.
- Uses a challenger mindset to hold stakeholder teams (MOI, CELA, Finance, etc.) accountable for timely and appropriate services and deliverables that enable sales partners.
- Lead resource allocation (both strategically and tactically) to ensure partner team awareness and compliance to corporate and organizational policies.
- Coach the sales leaders in story-telling through data and the visual display of quantitative information. Demonstrate an inquisitive mindset to uncover and understand unstated assumptions, potential risks, and unexplored business opportunities.
- Collaborate across the Global Strategic Sales Team and participate in the rhythm of business, strategic review and reporting processes.
- Provide thought leadership and an outside-in perspective to shape the longer-term vision and strategy for the channel partner and Microsoft Advertising business.
