• Business analytics and decision support for growth and optimize resource allocation
  • Sales team: provide product pricing and margin analysis to steer sales price setting, sales team efficiency, channel management and product portfolio management
  • Product production costs: cash production cost analysis to identify cost savings initiatives with production team
  • Fencing/China construction growth projects in BPR platform: prepare financial projections for Fencing and Dramix Growth projects in China.
  • Ad hoc decision support, including what-if analysis, CAPEX financial projections.
    

• Financial forecasting, target-setting and reporting
  • Coordinate and provide support for short-term X+1 and long-term X+3/X+5 financial business plan (financial plans are prepared at global BPR level)
  • After alignment with global BPR team, provide input for local BAMT sales, production and operational team target setting and help monitor progress for local management team.
  • Ensure timely management reporting according to Bekaert Group Control Guidelines. Analyze monthly results for management team to steer corrective action plans.
    

• Legal entity financial responsibilities, Work with group functions (shared service center, tax, treasury, credit management, legal, internal audit) to ensure:
  • Timely delivery of statutory audit reports and tax returns.
  • Optimization of tax exposure, cash flows and working capital positions
  • Compliance with relevant laws and regulation and Bekaert group policies
    

• People coaching
  • Supervise and coach cost accountant to ensure proper product cost maintenance and analysis in SAP.
    

• Bachelor degree in accounting and finance, ACCA/CICPA or equivalent qualified; previous Big4 and MNC manufacturing controlling experience preferred.
• About 3- 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
• Mature self-starter and learner with business savvy and acumen
• Strong communication skills and be able to explain financial concepts to non-finance managers; able to challenge in a diplomatic manner
• Good written and spoken English
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis and business decision support.
• SAP knowledge
