Position Accountabilities:

1 Responsibility for achieving BD targets

2 To work with existing and potential clients in generating and concluding transportation business opportunities

3 Support to develop robust business development proposals from inception to implementation with the aim of providing quality and innovative transportation solutions against prescribed deadlines

4 Delivers co-ordination of end-to-end business development process:

• Customer interface with the aim to build good customer/corporate relationships

• Solution development

• Pricing / commercial analysis

• Proposal generation

5 Identification of potential customers and building relationships through proactive & reactive business proposals

6 Cooperation with related teams such as OP/BD/AI or in conjunction with other solution design colleague for appropriate solution, proposals and costing

7 Support segment specific market analysis in China transportation industry

1 Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Logistics / Business Administration / Engineering related discipline

2 Minimum 5 years’ experience in China logistics/transportation industry

3 Experience in 3PL Contract Management (either as service provider, or service 'buyer'), would be desirable

4 Familiar with the high-tech or electronics industry account is preferred

5 Knowledge on the Customs will be a plus

6 Good understanding of China logistics industry trends with specific emphasis on transportation concepts

7 Good communication skills in both English and Chinese, oral and written

8 Excellent interpersonal skills

9 Excellent process analytical skills

10 Mature, resourceful, self-driven and high degree of professional integrity

11Ability to work effectively in a customer driven deadline environment

12 Some exposure to financial modeling techniques would be an advantage
