主要职责:

BD Manager is dedicated to sourcing innovations from outside of our company. Together with internal R&D this is a key pillar of our company’s innovation strategy. We do this by establishing connections with academic institutions and biotechnology companies; by identifying assets that fit into our pipeline, and by looking for technologies that can be integrated into our drug discovery process and diagnostics. Our aim is to build up strategis business platform of the future.

As the Manager of Business Development, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying external collaboration opportunities on behalf of our research, development, and commercial functions.
  • You will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate and conduct due diligence on new opportunities across discovery technologies and therapeutic areas.
  • You will be part of the team to ensure endorsement from key governance committees to transact, manage the interactions with potential partners, draft and negotiate term sheets, and driving deals to completion.
  • This position reports into the Head of BD China.
  • Key responsibilities Identify new partnering opportunities across discovery technologies and therapeutic areas from China/global in the areas of interest to our internal stakeholders and matching our stakeholder’s criteria for innovative business opportunities.
  • You will identify external partners working in the areas of interest to partnering teams and our internal stakeholders.
  • You will screen external proposals, identify those of interest and respond to potential partners as appropriate Build trusting relationships with external partners.
  • You will attend therapeutic, partnering and investor conferences and network with biotechnology companies and associations, key opinion leaders, investors, venture funds, medical and scientific communities.
  • You will establish connection and organize and participate in meetings with target companies.
  • You will maintain relationship with target companies, positioning our company for future opportunities Facilitate communications and interactions with internal colleagues in evaluation, diligence, and transaction processes.
  • You will work closely in collaboration with other colleagues within our company.

资历要求:

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Finance / MBA / post-grad qualification will be an advantage

Experience & knowledge:

  • 2-3 years of work experience (familiarity with the healthcare industry with marketing/consulting/PE/VC background would be strongly preferred) in BD or other highly related fields
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills, with experience in an environment requiring significant data analysis and cross-functional interaction.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
