Business Development

• Proactively monitor market, evaluate opportunities and propose development of suppliers for current and new

products

• Systematically improve company knowledge and understanding of Chinese regulations related to production, registration and use of pesticides

Supplier audit

• Screen, evaluate and audit new potential suppliers using define procedures. Provide recommendation regarding company cooperation with these suppliers.
• Regularly review and improve audit procedures

Monitoring of suppliers

• Monitor completion of corrective action plan to improve performances of suppliers
• Evaluate, monitor and benchmark production process, cost competitiveness and product output of suppliers

Registration

• Coordinate with suppliers for the registration documents to support regulatory affairs departments of company AG to register agrochemical products manufactured in China
• Guide and support communication between laboratories and suppliers to organize scientific studies

Support of commercial activities

• Provide technical expertise to commercial colleagues to support their activities

Territory: Entire China

Reporting: Head of Department Crop Protection

Location: Shanghai. Extensive travel in China needed

Requirements:

Education

• BS in organic chemistry, chemical engineering & technology, agrochemicals, crop protection or above in chemical engineering or agrochemicals

Experience

• Familiar with agrochemicals synthesis and formulation process
• Minimum 10 years work experience in agrochemical industry with overseas and domestics registration exposure, R&D and upscaling experience, acute business sensitivity and good network in the industry

Language

• Excellent English oral and written communication skills, with CET-6 or above
