Role:

The Business Development Manager is a representative of Informa Tech China sales team, to develop Informa Tech China new business and sales activities to new business in the target segments. Reporting to the China Sales head.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new business in the target segments.
• Develop sales strategies and sales forecast with China sales head.
• Deliver annual quota and sustainable business growth, carry out strategic sales activities for products and services, able to create new pipelines.
• Work closely with product managers and responsible analysts to develop sales opportunities.
• Work with Informa Tech regional marketing to develop local marketing campaigns.
• Manage forecast accuracy at monthly level, tracking weekly.

Travel time:

• 30%-50%, mostly domestic with sporadic international trips as required.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or technology industry-related fields required. Any equivalent combination of experience and education could be considered.
• Business degree also appreciated.

Skills:

• Native Mandarin and good command of English.

• Excellent communication skills with customer and internal organization verbally and written is essential.

• Understand key sales process and account management.

• Self-driven and motivated to learn new things

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years sales experience in Market Intelligence or Consulting firms or Industrial markets is required.
