Job Description

BD & Sales Solution Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Be part of the Penske highly engaged, highly caliber, highly effective Business Development &Sales and Solution team
Develop strategies for sales and marketing to achieve targeted growth and maximize market opportunities
Know how to ask probing questions with potential customers
Strong experience in approaching new customers and being able to close deals
Articulate customers needs and develop solutions. Be able to present to senior level people from customers
Bring in new 3PL sales in the areas warehouse management, domestic transportation and international freight management.
Know how to develop expertise in targeted industries
Provide feedback to develop service products
Know how to approach industry association, conference and government channel.
Get engaged in solution development for new customers
Goals:

Be able to achieve US$0.5-1MM sales target
Develop a potential customer pipeline of good quality
Be able to contribute to new product and service development
Maintain good customer relationship

Qualifications/Requirements:
A Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or related degree or a minimum of five years of transportation management experience
Good presentation skills
Proactive internal and external customer service attitude
Strong business acumen
Effective communications skills
Great listener
Quick learner
Great team player
Taking initiative
Self driven
Flexible to travel regionally
