To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E The BI Reporting Analyst EMEA has the primary responsibility of supporting the development and delivery agile reporting functionalities and advanced analytics solutions to answer key business questions for Eaton's Sales, Services & Marketing functions. The successful candidate shall ensure the scalability, reusability and adoption of developed solutions across EMEA, driving better decision-making and transforming how Eaton operates through the embedding of analytics into core work processes. Participating and supporting CI/BI activities, the candidate shall actively lead and support Idea Management and other BI Reporting Analysts and Data Scientists. Your main responsibilities: • Leverage and use Big Data analytics to improve Customer Satisfaction and Customer Care Performance • Work closely with senior Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Architects to extract, transform and standardize data for optimal use within analytic tools • Assist in the design of Data warehouses, algorithms, Machine Learning models, and write code as required to successully process large amounts of data from various sources (RDBMS, NoSQL, Data Lakes, ERPs, CRMs, Excel files, etc..), ensuring data quality. • Contribute to the automation of frequently used reporting and data analysis workflows • Leverage knowledge in business and analytics technology (Visualization tools, Databases, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing), to support business reporting requests and projects following Eaton's ProLaunch methodology • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance) and the IT community, ensuring operational improvement, capturing the business needs and translating them for our BI service providers, master data and front-end teams to create scalable and robust analytics solutions • Gather reporting requirements, prioritize them and deliver analytics projects to the organization by following the agile SCRUM methodology • Develop test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing, plan/coordinate deployment, design appropriate KPI measures to report on success, client user adoption of the analytics solutions and ensure customer satisfaction • Create team level data visualizations flows, dashboards and ad-hoc reports to answer the key business questions applying the best practices in visuals, plots and tables to easily communicate insights (what, why, how, where, who and when) • Implement and leverage Power BI solutions to improve overall Eaton Customer Care Performance and Customer Satisfaction • Gather requirements using lean techniques such as value stream mapping, process mapping requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business KPIs Formulas, use cases, and workflow analysis • Support fellow BI Reporting Analysts and Data Scientists from a technical point of view (conceptualizing, aggregating, programming, analyzing and visualizing data) • Create detailed procedures and working instructions to regularly update the data feed and regularly update reporting documentation • Lead and support ideas from Idea Management from a BI perspective • Build strong relationships and open communications with key members of the supported operation(s). • Performs software training for end users in line with Eaton change management processes and guidelines. • Actively stay abreast of new technologies within the Data Science field, with a keen eye towards how they may be leveraged within the organization • Audit preparations: SOX Fiscal and statutory audits Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Education level required: • A Bachelors’ Degree or Masters' Degree from an accredited institution with a strong preference toward Information Technology, Computer Science, Math or Phisics Degree Years and area of experience required: • Preferably 1-2 years of experience as a business analyst or in reporting / business intelligence, but fresh grads with IT education background are also welcome to apply Technical knowledge: • Demonstrated understanding of Programming, Data management and Data Science principles and practices • ERP, MS Office,VBA, CRM, Big Data, knowledge of other programing language is an advantage Soft skills: • Proficiency in creative problem solving, analitics skill and managing priorities • Strong analytical skills required to enter, document and manage orders and customer issues,demonstrated ability to take ownership of assignments What we offer to you: • Competitive compensation and benefits package • Permanent contract in a fast-growing global company • Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team • Flexible working solutions (home office, remote, flexible working hours, part time etc.) are implemented across different EMEA locations • We make ethics and culture matter – You will enjoy working in supportive and collaborative workplace where ethics and safety are in our DNA • We make your perspectives matter - Different points of view are what drive innovation and collaboration, and at Eaton, innovation begins with top-to-bottom diversity.
